Part A

About the tour itself

Every itinerary is a little different.

How long does a two-day Uluru tour last?

Two days, usually with one overnight stay where the itinerary includes it. Departure and return times, sightseeing schedules and overnight arrangements differ between operators, so check the itinerary of the tour you’re looking at.

What does a two-day tour include?

It depends on the operator and the itinerary. Some packages include guided sightseeing at Uluru and visits to Kata Tjuta. Read the inclusions list for each tour carefully, or see What’s Included and What Varies for a fuller explanation.

What is often not included?

Flights to or from the Northern Territory and accommodation before or after the tour may not be included. Plan for these separately unless your chosen tour says otherwise.

When do the tours run?

Some run all year and others only in certain seasons. This depends on the operator, the weather and their departure schedules. Checking availability for your dates is the most reliable guide. If you’re still working out timing and logistics, our distances and departure points guide may help.

Part B · Who does what

Operators and our role

Who operates the tour?

Independent Australian tour operators run the tours. 2 Day Uluru Tour is an Australian-based travel business that helps you discover, compare and book carefully selected tours. We are a discovery and booking platform, not necessarily the operator.

Do you arrange flights, transfers or insurance?

Please don’t assume we provide guiding, transport, accommodation, private transfers, flights, travel insurance or custom travel arrangements ourselves. Anything that is included will be listed in the tour details. Our How Booking Works page explains each step.

Part C · Cost

Prices and what moves them

What affects the price of a tour?

The final price can depend on the operator, your travel dates, the season, the type of accommodation, your passenger category, group size, included meals, national park fees and any optional upgrades.

Why is there no single price for every tour?

Because those factors change from tour to tour and from date to date. Comparing inclusions as well as prices gives you a fairer picture. You’ll find more detail in What Affects Tour Prices.

Part D · Conditions on the day

Weather, sightseeing and changes

The desert sets its own conditions.

Are the weather or sightseeing guaranteed?

No. There is no general guarantee about satisfaction, weather or sightseeing. This includes sunrise and sunset conditions and wildlife sightings, which nobody can promise.

Can itineraries or availability change?

Yes. Itineraries, availability, inclusions, departure arrangements and booking conditions can vary because independent operators deliver the tours. Changes, cancellations and refunds follow the booking conditions that apply to your tour.

Is a two-day tour long enough?

For travellers with about two days, often yes. If you’d like to explore the whole Red Centre at a slower pace or stay several nights, a longer trip may suit you better. Read Is a Two-Day Tour Right for You? and Booking Information and Disclaimers before you book.
